Client:
Our client is a boutique architecture firm based in Washington Heights, specializing in high-end luxury residential design. Known for refined interiors and thoughtful detailing, the studio works on distinctive private residences with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and design excellence.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Architect with 5–12 years of experience to support ongoing residential interior renovation projects. This temporary opportunity, lasting through August (or longer), is ideal for an architect who excels in technical documentation and interior detailing, and who enjoys working in a collaborative, design-focused studio environment. Ideally someone who has experience with traditional design style.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop construction documentation for residential renovation projects
- Produce detailed millwork and interior design drawings
- Assist with design development and technical detailing
- Coordinate with consultants and project stakeholders
- Support project teams through key documentation phases
Required Qualifications:
- 5–12 years of professional architectural experience
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience producing CDs and interior/millwork details
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced studio setting
Education:
B.Arch or BFA (or equivalent experience)
Compensation:
$40-70 p/hour depending on experience level
